This location in Mauritius is truly stunning, but unfortunately, swimming may not be the best option due to the abundance of sea urchins on the beach. These creatures can be found both on and off the shore. Additionally, a boat tour is available for a reasonable price of 450 Rupees (approximately 10-12 Euro) but does not include a BBQ. However, there are some great food options to be found on the island.

What an amazing place! We stayed for 10 nights and the staff took great care of us. We had originally planned to cook for ourselves, but once we tried the delicious meals available on site, we abandoned that idea. The front patio deck had plenty of seating options depending on your mood - whether you wanted sun, breeze, or both. And if you needed to cool off, the ocean was just a staircase away. The sparrows that visited in the evenings and mornings provided a lovely soundtrack and helped us time our sundowners. Overall, it was a fantastic experience with a wonderful team, and we definitely plan to come back in the future.

The beach is excellently shielded from gusts of wind and waves, ensuring a tranquil swimming experience. One notable feature of the swimming area is a rock situated near the boundary in the middle, which is a magnet for gorgeous fish. The beach provides ample shade, and all amenities are conveniently located, including restrooms, food kiosks, and ample parking. It's worth noting that we visited during a weekday in the shoulder season, which may have affected the number of visitors.
