Pereybere Beach

This beach exudes a pleasant atmosphere and generates positive energy. The sand is pristine and appears to be among the purest in the area. Though it may be modest in size, it is an excellent option for families with young children, as the bay creates a serene and shallow water environment.

I'm not entirely convinced as to why this particular beach has garnered such high praise. While it is undoubtedly pleasant, it is also rather diminutive in size and can become uncomfortably congested at times. In comparison, the beach at Filc en Flac is significantly more expansive, stretching out for miles on end, and offers a much more tranquil and stress-free environment.

This quaint public beach may be visually appealing, but don't let its small size fool you - it can quickly become a hotspot for tourists and locals alike, leaving you feeling like a sardine in a can. However, if you're willing to brave the crowds, you'll be rewarded with pristine white sand and crystal-clear water that will make you forget about the lack of personal space. Plus, you can leave your clunky swimming shoes at home and feel the soft sand beneath your toes.

The beach in Mauritius that my child adored above all else was a true delight. From the moment we arrived, it was clear that this was a special place. And when hunger struck, we were spoilt for choice with numerous restaurants and street food trucks nearby, offering everything from fresh fruits to delicious meals. Overall, this beach was a true paradise and a must-visit spot for anyone visiting Mauritius.

This beach in North Mauritius is truly a gem. It is widely regarded as the best beach in the region, and for good reason. Not only does it offer stunning views of the ocean and surrounding landscape, but it is also conveniently located near Grand Baie, where you can find a variety of boats for touring Flat island. This island, located just 20km north of Mauritius, is a must-see for any traveler. On the opposite side of the beach, there are plenty of budget-friendly hotels and restaurants to choose from. This area is also known for its vibrant nightlife, with a casino nearby. For those looking to relax, you can rent a backrest for the day for a reasonable price (if you negotiate well). Keep in mind, however, that this beach is smaller than some of the others in west Mauritius, such as Flic-n-Flac. Despite its size, there is still plenty to do here. Water sports are a popular activity, and the beach is often filled with families and children. Overall, this beach is a must-visit for anyone traveling to North Mauritius.
