This hotel is advertised as adults only, but there are actually many families with babies staying here. The quality of the food is poor, with cheap and tough cuts of beef, dry chicken, and tilapia fish that is only bought from Cairo and not from the sea. The portions are very small and mixed in a stew, so the first person to dig in gets the meat and the rest are left with just the vegetable stew. The salad is plentiful but it seems to be recycled, as I experienced diarrhea for a week after eating it. The weather was extremely hot and many meals were served outside, but the hot food was often served cold, including roast potatoes, chips, and vegetables. The chefs are of poor standard and there were even egg shells in the eggs. All the food was overcooked and there was no pork or lamb, just awful processed meats for breakfast. I personally don't eat sugar, but I noticed that most people were indulging in cakes and sweet breads for breakfast, lunch, and dinner. Pasta and pizza were also popular choices, but lacked nutrients. The fruit available was substandard and not ripe. The location of the hotel is beautiful, but it is completely ruined by the management and how the hotel is run. There is loud music playing and salesmen constantly walking around, bothering guests on their lounge chairs. This was a big intrusion for me, especially as a solo female traveler. In just 15 minutes, I was approached by salesmen four times. It would have been better if they had left a brochure in my room instead. Additionally, the cleaners would sweep the area while I was trying to enjoy a meal at the pub, which was disruptive and didn't allow for any peace.
