This beach was one of the best we've been to, although the GPS directions made it a bit of a challenge to find. Initially, parking was hectic, but we eventually found a spot on the side of the road. However, a taxi driver warned us that we might get a ticket or be towed due to the yellow lines painted on the curb. We decided not to risk it and instead parked at the nearby CVS parking lot for only $7.50 for three hours. The walk to the beach wasn't far, and we stopped at CVS to grab some snacks. Despite the long lines, the employees were incredibly nice.
As visitors to Puerto Rico, we weren't prepared with a cooler or umbrella, but luckily we found out that we could rent chairs for $5. Unfortunately, they were out of umbrellas, but that didn't detract from the beautiful view of the water, which had a lovely green tint. The sand was soft and white, and the water temperature was perfect for swimming. We enjoyed our time there immensely!
Later on, we tried some fried finger foods from a stand, including a delicious meat empanada. We had two plates and a bottle of water, which only cost $11, so it was quite affordable. Overall, we spent $18.50 for our trip to the beach. We highly recommend visiting this beach!
