Playa Punta Miquillo

During my four-night stay at the Hyatt, I was captivated by the stunning location. The hotel's open atmosphere was delightful, and I appreciated the variety of games available. My dining experience at Nectar was absolutely incredible. I particularly remember our waitress, Aida, who was kind, pleasant, and always wore a smile. However, I have a couple of reasons for giving a three-star rating. Firstly, my room was not cleaned on the third day. Despite visiting multiple times, I discovered a privacy sign on the door during my last attempt. We never placed a sign and desperately needed the room to be cleaned. I had to contact housekeeping to have it done. Unfortunately, when they finally arrived, it was already around 4 pm, and my family had to wait on the balcony. Additionally, the housekeeper seemed unhappy, which made us feel quite uncomfortable. It was definitely not a pleasant experience. Secondly, I felt that the hotel had ample storage space that could have been transformed into a fun kids' area. I wish there were more indoor spaces dedicated to children. Lastly, the food was overpriced and lacked reasonable options. The limited choices did not justify the high prices.

After initially reading a few other reviews, I was doubtful, but I must admit that none of my worries based on those reviews turned out to be true. The beach is kept in great condition, and the staff is consistently present and friendly. I never feel overwhelmed by crowds at any of the pools or beaches. The food options, ranging from the food truck near the pool to the high-quality restaurants on the property, were exceptional. The room service was prompt, and there were always carts available to transport people around the property, showing consideration for pedestrians. It was an incredible stay, and I am eagerly anticipating my next visit.

I absolutely adored it. The pool, ocean, and rooms were exceptional. The staff were incredibly kind and friendly. We genuinely appreciated the sense of freedom the resort provided, and it had a relaxed and laid-back atmosphere. The cleanliness was also a top priority. Please continue doing such a fantastic job.

The rooms are spacious, offering comfortable and well-lit bathrooms. The towels provided are fluffy. Additionally, guests receive bottled water daily, but there are also eco-conscious facilities available for refilling water bottles. The beach resort offers numerous activities suitable for families. The pools are large and there are plenty of options available, ensuring that none of them feel overcrowded. Every morning, we enjoyed breakfast at the restaurant, and the ever-changing offerings kept it interesting. However, it seemed that the hotel was not adequately prepared for the number of guests, as there was a shortage of servers. This shortage affected various areas, including the pool, restaurant, car service, and room cleaning. On one occasion, our room was not cleaned until 4 pm, despite us leaving early for breakfast, and on another day, it was still not done by noon. This level of service was disappointing, especially considering our expectations for a Grand Reserve experience. Despite its massive size, the resort provides golf carts for convenient transportation. The spa is particularly impressive, and we highly recommend their facials and massages.

Puerto Rico is absolutely amazing, and this resort is absolutely stunning. All the locals we've encountered have been incredibly friendly and kind. We're currently staying at the resort, and I must say, the property itself is absolutely beautiful. Everything is flawless and deserves a five-star rating. However, there were a couple of instances where we had to wait for more than 20 minutes at the lobby for a shuttle to take us back to our room. Last night, after waiting for 30 minutes and realizing that the dinner we were bringing back for our family was getting cold, we decided to walk back ourselves. Surprisingly, the resort isn't very busy this week, so it's puzzling where the staff has disappeared to. Even the front desk was deserted last night, with a few groups waiting. I apologize for these comments because this place is truly stunning, and everyone is incredibly friendly and nice, when you can locate them. (Apparently, there's a labor shortage in PR.) By the way, when we returned last night, we noticed that our room door hadn't been fully closed after the cleaning. Anyone could have entered and rummaged through our belongings, but I'm confident that the guests here wouldn't do anything malicious. Thankfully, nothing was missing. However, please pay attention to small details like ENSURING THAT GUEST ROOMS ARE LOCKED AFTER CLEANING.
