This serene beach boasts crystal clear waters that glisten in the sunlight, and my sunset photos simply cannot capture its true beauty. It's an ideal location for leisurely strolls, frolicking in the waves, and scouring for sand dollars. When you need a break from the sun, there are plenty of shady palms to relax under. Additionally, there are numerous roped-off sections to protect the leatherback turtle nests, which is an impressive sight to behold.

Strolling along the beachfront is an absolute delight. The thrill of discovering sand dollars amidst the sandy shores is simply unmatched. What's more, the beach is never too bustling, making it an ideal spot for those seeking peace and tranquility.

I thoroughly enjoyed my time at the beach, but it's important to note that there are no vendors selling food or drinks, so it's best to bring your own supplies. The beach offers parking in designated areas, but there are no public restrooms available. Typically, the beach is not too crowded, except for holidays like Easter and the Fourth of July. It's a great spot to spend time with loved ones, and while it can be windy, the breeze is usually mild.

The beach is a stunning and unspoiled natural location that offers miles of walking opportunities. The Vereda del Mar condo complex is a fantastic spot for a soothing vacation, situated between the pristine Las Picuas beach and a verdant greenbelt that leads to the Yunque Rain Forest. The surrounding vistas are breathtaking, making it an ideal place to relax and unwind. Within a 10 to 15 minute drive, there are numerous water and mountain sports to enjoy, as well as some of the best outdoor restaurants that are safe and welcoming. Additionally, all the essential stores are conveniently located within a 15-minute drive. The Old San Juan city and other metropolitan destinations are just a 45-minute drive away on a straight highway, making it a perfect base for exploring the area.
