If you're a fan of naturism or nudism, or if you love snorkeling, this beach is perfect for you! To reach Avlaki East Beach, take a 10-minute walk through the beautiful woods located to the right of Avlaki Beach (facing the sea). You'll see signs pointing in the direction of the "Nude/Nudist Beach ➡️".
The beach is just the right size and is very secluded and peaceful (at least, in May). While there may be some walkers or cyclists passing by, they tend to leave quickly. When I was there, I saw two straight couples in their 40s or 50s, one topless and one nudist, as well as a single man. A few boats also popped into the bay out of curiosity, and a nudist boater even anchored there for a while. One textile man also enjoyed snorkeling around the bay.
Sunbathing can be a bit challenging or uncomfortable because the beach is pebbled, not sandy. However, you can also sit or lay down on the large, flat rocks. I personally enjoyed sunbathing on the little pebbles, but I know it's not for everyone.
The best activities to do here are snorkeling and exploring the different little bays by clambering on the rocks. It's also ideal for swimming, but watch out for sea urchins near the rocks on the left side of the beach.
Enjoy the peacefulness and privacy of this beautiful beach!
