The staff members were noticeably friendly and accommodating. However, we were quite disappointed with the condition of our room, as it seemed quite old and in need of renovation.
Furthermore, we decided to try two of the hotel's restaurants, but unfortunately, our dining experiences were far from satisfactory.
Despite all the restaurants being fully booked, the quality of the food left much to be desired. On our first night, we chose the buffet, which had a wide variety of dishes. However, we found that the entire menu was rather bland and lacked flavor.
Especially disappointing was our visit to Madam Ming, the Asian cuisine restaurant, where we had chosen to celebrate my birthday. The Tom Yum soup and Pad Thai were both unappetizing and did not resemble authentic Thai cuisine at all.
I had been eagerly looking forward to a memorable and enjoyable weekend getaway at Ravenala, but unfortunately, it did not meet my expectations. While the rooms were spacious, they were in desperate need of renovation. Additionally, the hotel's numerous restaurants seemed to be understaffed, resulting in delays in replenishing buffet items and, in some cases, items not being restocked at all.
