FaiFai Beach

This idyllic beach is a hidden gem with a low number of visitors. Its location is a brief stroll away from Tumon Beach towards the north, simply follow the shoreline and the path. After passing through Gun Beach and navigating around the ness, you will arrive at your destination. You can explore the beach all the way to Two Lovers Point, almost. The only obstruction is the towering cliffs, but the walk is still enjoyable, and the beach remains unspoiled. While en route, take a moment to appreciate the WW2 artifacts at Gun Beach.

The beach at Faifai is easily accessible, as we parked behind hotel Nikko and hiked for about 20 minutes to get there via Gun Beach. We went during low tide, which made it perfect to walk alongside the cliff with our water shoes on. There is a trail that supposedly goes around and alongside the cliff side of Gun Beach, but the planks that used to be there to get to the point of access to Faifai are no longer there. Despite this, the beach was pretty secluded and we had it all to ourselves, which was awesome! It's a great place to snorkel, even during low tide, and I was able to get out past the reef.

We embarked on a journey from Gun Beach to reach our destination. Unfortunately, the bridge leading to the beach has been partially washed away by the ocean, which required us to carefully tread over the slippery rocks in the water. Navigating this route can be hazardous if the current is strong, so we proceeded with caution. But the effort was undoubtedly worthwhile as we were greeted with a breathtaking view of the beach. Although the beach was teeming with an army of shy crabs, it was not crowded with humans. The optimal time to visit is in the morning when the sun is shining on the opposite side. However, the most picturesque time of day is during sunset, although walking in dim light may not be suitable for the faint-hearted.

I absolutely adore this beach! It's an incredible spot for observing Monitor Lizards in their natural habitat. If you head over to Gun Beach and veer to the right, you'll come across a hidden WWII gun. Alternatively, if you take the path to the left, you'll discover the stunning FaiFai beach. Unfortunately, the concrete bridge appears to be in need of repair, which is why I'm giving it four stars. However, you can easily navigate the rocks by hopping down, so make sure to bring your water shoes! This beach is a true hidden gem that's easily accessible.
