Haputo Beach

This beach in Guam is supposedly the best of the best, with its pristine white sand. But, of course, it's not easy to get there. You have to trek through the jungle, avoiding trees and rocks along the way. And don't even think about carrying heavy bags, because you'll be regretting it on your way back up. But hey, at least there won't be many people around to witness your struggle. Plus, the sand is actually soft unlike other beaches in the area that are more like rocky terrain. And if you're into fish and snorkeling, this beach has got you covered. Shade, sun, sand, and water - what more could you possibly want? But let's be real, it's not like it's anything out of this world.

The trail leading to the beach is moderately challenging, so it's advisable to avoid wearing sandals. However, many spots on the path have ropes to aid you in your descent. The beach boasts crystal-clear waters that are always visible, except when the warm current causes some distortion. This is undoubtedly one of my favorite beaches to visit, but it's important to sign in and out at the gate since it's government property. The trees at the beach's edge provide some much-needed shade, but beware of the mosquitoes that tend to congregate there.

The magnificent Haputo Beach is an extraordinary retreat that offers a secluded and peaceful ambiance. The beach is easily accessible and provides a serene environment for relaxation. However, one must endure a bit of a hike to get back up after enjoying the beach. The beach is exclusively accessible to military and government employees, adding to the exclusivity of the location.

A brief trek from the parking lot leads to a secluded beach with a stunning mushroom rock formation that is truly awe-inspiring. Though the descent can be steep, it is manageable even for young children. The beach also boasts other unique rock formations that are just waiting to be explored. However, it is important to note that military access or an escort is required to access this hidden gem.

I was completely mesmerized by the sheer beauty of this beach, which undoubtedly ranks among the most stunning ones I've ever laid my eyes upon. The peaceful and secluded atmosphere of the place only added to its allure. However, it's worth noting that despite being accessible through a military base, this beach is often closed and requires prior registration at the base security office before you can proceed.
