The beach of Vlachia is a hidden gem, accessible only by foot from the village. The lack of a road to the beach has preserved its natural beauty, making it a haven for fauna and fisher boat houses. In the past, locals used small wooden boats without engines to fish in the area. The village was completely self-sustaining, with no car road to Makrialo or Sarakiniko. Even today, the beach remains untouched and can only be reached by paddling boat from Makrialo, taking around 20 minutes. Its isolation has kept it in its natural state for decades, making it one of the most unspoiled beaches around.
