In terms of its natural beauty, the beach is decent. However, in reality, it has become a highly commercialized and overcrowded destination, with exorbitant prices for umbrellas and a single loud beach bar dominating the scene. Additionally, there is a constant stream of boats bringing in more and more people, making the already crowded beach even more hectic. Despite promoting itself as a Mamma Mia beach, there is hardly any evidence of the movie's presence there, with the pier long gone and no songs from the film played at the bar. For a much more enjoyable experience, it would be wise to opt for nearby Panormos beach, which offers free sun beds and umbrellas, a market, and several tavernas to choose from.
