Limni Thermisia beach

The owner of this beach is extremely unprofessional and unaccommodating, despite having the ability to cater to the needs of their clients. Typically, when renting a place or room, owners are very accommodating, but this particular owner has provided the first negative experience I have ever had. Most visitors are welcome for a visit, but unfortunately, using the parking space here is prohibited and has caused us trouble. It is truly disappointing to witness such behavior from the owner, as we never expected this kind of treatment. I cannot recommend this place to anyone who wishes to stay here, as it is simply not worth it. Andrea, the owner, lacks respect and is dishonest. On the second night, my visitors parked their car next to mine in front of our tent, which I had rented for three nights. We did not intend to intrude or disturb anyone, as I am familiar with the rules and regulations of a campsite. After briefly staying inside the premises for one minute to protect ourselves from the mosquitoes, which were biting us relentlessly, we decided to head to the sea for a swim, which was only 30 meters away from the campsite. Upon returning from our swim, I looked for the owner to inform him that my visitor liked the place and wanted to join us in our tent. I wanted to inquire about the additional charge for accommodating one more person in our tent. However, before I could finish speaking, he suddenly became angry and started shouting at my visitor, demanding that they leave and threatening to call the police if we didn't move the car parked in front of our tent. He created a scene and kicked us out of the premises, even though I had booked the tent for three nights. It is truly shameful to witness how poorly he handles his business. Instead of showcasing the potential of his campsite and making customers happy, he showed us and anyone who heard him how poorly he treats his clients. Based on this experience, I cannot give this place even a single star.

The beach had a very warm and welcoming atmosphere, excellent amenities, and was conveniently situated near the pitches. I was pleased with all the available facilities.

We received a warm welcome and spent two nights at Hydras Waves. The campground spots were of a good size, and it was convenient to access the services. Since the port was nearby, we were able to take a day trip to Hydra. Unfortunately, their Taverna was not open during our early travels. The charming town of Lemioni is just a short 15-minute drive away. Mr. Andreas had a great sense of humor and made us laugh. 😀 We would definitely be happy to come back again.

The campsite is situated in a beautiful location near the sea and is well-maintained and orderly. However, it is on the pricier side, charging 7 Euros per person, in addition to 7 Euros for the tent spot. In contrast, other campgrounds in Greece typically charge 5 Euros per person, along with 5 Euros for the spot.

The campground is incredibly peaceful, offering well-maintained restrooms and an abundance of conveniently placed trash bins. There are plenty of shaded areas and even benches available in the open for enjoying meals. The manager can be a bit strict when it comes to adhering to schedules and following campground rules. However, campers have the advantage of the beach gate remaining unlocked, allowing easy access even after the car gates close at 01.00.
