Aquasea (Belle Mare) provided an unforgettable experience with its authentic water sports. For those seeking an adrenaline rush, it's more cost-effective to choose all the activities. If you have a friend, you can split the cost and get personal pictures from the tube ride and parasailing, while the undersea walk only provides personal pictures.
After contemplating for a while, I decided to try the Undersea walk, which I jokingly referred to as finding Nemo. We boarded a boat and headed towards the middle of the Indian Ocean, and I was filled with excitement. Upon reaching the underwater walk platform, I was equipped with a safety belt containing heavy rocks (which served as a weight to keep me submerged), and I put on the provided rubber shoes. Then, I entered the water, and they placed an oxygenated helmet on my head, making me feel like I was being sent straight down to drown. The total weight was around 45kg (please, what is my total weight?). The lifeguard guided me into the water, and that's when the panic attack hit me. I struggled to swim back up to safety.
After hearing others talk about their experiences, I decided to give it another try but requested that the attractive lifeguard accompany me. Finally, I did it and witnessed numerous Nemos swimming beneath the crystal-clear sea. It was a wonderful experience, although I didn't get to feed the fish. The panic attack made me crave the presence of real people.
At Aquasea, there are plenty of water sports available for non-swimmers, such as parasailing, where you can soar over 800ft above the sea and admire the beauty of Belle Mare beach. The tube ride, on the other hand, involves being dragged through the water like a ragdoll for 10 minutes. I didn't try it myself, but watching others do it made my heart race. All the activities are both safe and enjoyable.
I was disappointed with the waterfall package, but Île aux Cerfs was absolutely amazing!
