Upon reading about this particular beach, one might assume that it is not a popular spot for swimming. However, during our visit, we found the Head of the Meadow Beach to be bustling with sunbathers and swimmers of all ages, taking advantage of the waves for surfing. The beach boasts a variety of reasons to visit, including the presence of lifeguards on duty from 10 am to 5 pm every day during the summer season. Additionally, there are five portable toilets available and ample parking, though there is a fee for parking unless you have purchased a season pass. Despite the crowds, this beach may just be the most stunning ocean beach in all of Truro.
While many claim that this beach in Cape Cod is the best, I must admit that I didn't enjoy it as much as I thought I would. Being from New Jersey, I have seen some great beaches, and this one just didn't measure up. The abundance of stones in the water made it difficult to enjoy a refreshing swim, as many of them were sharp and hurt our feet. It was a total disappointment. The admission fee of $25 was steep, but the sand dunes and beach were beautiful to look at from afar. There were changing rooms and showers available, which was a plus. Unfortunately, there were no food options on the beach, and we had to drive 10 minutes away to find a restaurant. It's best to plan ahead and eat before heading to the beach. However, the kids had a blast on the shore, and we even spotted some seals, which was a sight to behold.
This beach offers a splendid location to witness the breathtaking sunset. However, the sand here is not as powdery as some of the other beaches around, and the waves can be quite strong.
We were fortunate to stumble upon this beach. It had everything we could have wanted.
This beach is perfect for shell collecting, swimming, and simply relaxing. It's conveniently located just a short walk from the parking lot, and also offers some interesting trails around the perimeter. Additionally, there's a fantastic oyster cove to explore.
We really enjoy our time at Provincetown. The staff at the front desk is incredibly helpful and polite. The manager on duty, Roxann, is truly exceptional - she is professional, understanding, and always goes out of her way to accommodate us and any other guests checking in or out. Every time we check in or stay here, Blake, who manages the parking spot and also works at the front desk and phones, is outstanding. He is always polite, extremely helpful with any questions, and goes above and beyond to accommodate any specific needs or requests we may have. This place is fantastic and very convenient. Additionally, we love the pool, the drinks, and the location.
