Towan Beach in Newquay is stunning. We took our dog down to the beach so he could play with the other dogs. We enjoyed watching people surf (and attempt to surf - at least trying to stand up). There are plenty of cafes and food outlets on the beach!

We absolutely loved this beach. It was the closest to our holiday house, and we spent the last two days of our stay there. We had a great time exploring the caves. It's perfect for surfing and bodyboarding. Even the two-year-old with us had a blast. The beach bar offers excellent ice cream and drinks. The coast guards did a fantastic job looking after everyone.

This beach is truly remarkable. We've been here a few times, both on our own and with the grandchildren. There are some incredible caves to explore, and the kids had a blast playing in the sand dunes and the river when the tide was out. It's a bit of a trek from the car park, but it's definitely worth it.

Alternatively, you can pay through a smartphone app, but the reception can be spotty and the download time can be lengthy. After spending half an hour trying to pay for parking, I was left feeling quite irritable.

This beach is truly enchanting! The river section is perfect for paddle boarding and children can have a delightful time splashing around in it. Additionally, there are numerous rock pools and caves to discover, and the sand dunes are perfect for sand boarding! However, it is important to note that the car parks fill up exceedingly fast and the river side of the beach can become quite congested.

This beach is amazing! It's one of the top beaches in Cornwall. The path leading down is quite steep, but it's definitely worth the effort. It's dog-friendly and perfect for swimming. Be cautious of the unstable cliffs and stay at least 50 feet away at all times. There are plenty of cool spots to climb, but it's best to avoid exploring the caves for safety reasons. It's not crowded and a great spot to relax for a few hours. There is space for about 3 cars on the road near the path, but you can also park down by Porth Beach and take a short 5-minute walk up the hill.
