This place is absolutely stunning and beautiful. It wasn't crowded during this time of the year. The water was a bit chilly but still lovely. The sun was beautiful and it was easy to get there by bus. We traveled from Calleo Salvaje, which took about 35 minutes by bus.

The breathtaking cliffs make for a stunning backdrop. The quaint village is full of shops and cafes, though the only way to get close to the cliffs is to take a boat ride.

My preferred spot for snorkeling in Tenerife. A remarkable variety of fish to observe and plenty of Sea Turtles as well! Truly delightful!

Playa de Masca

The view from Masca is breathtaking, but it's not something you'd want to experience more than once. The road to get there is a winding, treacherous journey through the mountains. If you're looking to reach the beach, you'll have to endure a grueling 8 km hike down from the village.

Playa La Jaquita

This peaceful beach is a great spot for a relaxing day out. It features a nice mix of gray sand, volcanic sand, and pebbles, as well as clean toilets and a shower right on the beach. There's also a rustic parking area nearby, just a 10-minute walk along the promenade. To top it off, there's even a quiet coffee bar in the area.

Our favorite beach is a real gem! With its dramatic backdrop and huge waves, the main beach is perfect for thrill-seekers. There are also plenty of rock pools and formations nearby, making the water calmer and ideal for children or snorkeling. One thing to note is that if the tide is in, there won't be much of a beach, so it's best to check the tide charts if you're coming from the south. The drive from the south along the Masca Road is absolutely stunning, so it's worth the trip at least once. Don't forget to check out the lighthouse too - it's a must-see, just make sure you know the opening times!
