We were swimming in the pool, not anticipating any trouble since the waves were weak. Out of nowhere, strong waves began to surge, carrying me over the fence. I fell onto the sharp rocks to the left of the fence and continued to struggle in the water, choking on salt water. My head and ribs were injured. The powerful waves either pulled you back into the ocean or pushed you forward, slamming you against the rocks.
Hiding in the grotto to wait it out was a terrible idea.
We were saved by a family from Poland (if you are reading this, thank you, we will always remember you!) who threw us a baby inflatable duckling, which kept us from drowning. There is no safe way to exit the water there, and climbing the rocks during a storm is extremely difficult. The ambulance arrived, but they had no drinking water and did not provide first aid. They only offered hospitalization... I feared I wouldn't make it, thinking I might die from thirst and salt in my lungs on the way to the hospital.
Due to the high rating of this place, people believe it's a good spot to relax. But it's nothing more than a death trap...
Never swim here...
