This year in 2018, the walk to the beach through the forest is a lovely experience that spans around 3 km. You can also bike or go for morning runs in the area. The beach itself is relatively clean with white sand, and there are toilets available except during the colder seasons. It's not crowded, making it an ideal spot for those who want to relax. One thing to note is that if you head towards Garciems (to the left), you may come across a nudist beach, so be mindful. During winter, there aren't any shops in the area, so it's best to bring your own tea. However, you may be lucky enough to come across small ice cream shops on the beach. Enjoy your visit!
There is complimentary parking available, and to access the beach, one must take a stroll through the forest. Additionally, there are benches provided for convenience.
The desolate beach offers a limited selection of cafes and bars, with an almost non-existent crowd.
This beach is undoubtedly one of the most picturesque seaside locations in Latvia. The breathtaking views are simply mesmerizing! If you're fortunate enough, you may find parking right next to the beach, but if not, there's a large car park near the train station, which is only a 15-minute walk away.
What a splendid day to bask in the sun and stroll along the sandy shore! The beach offers a treasure trove of delights, including the possibility of discovering a rare gem like Amber, which is as precious as gold. So, put on your shades, feel the salty breeze on your skin, and let the beach work its magic on you. Who knows what hidden treasures you might uncover?
