The desolate beach offers a limited selection of cafes and bars, with an almost non-existent crowd.

The beach I visited recently was truly delightful and bustling with activity. The path leading to the beach was serene and lined with upscale dining establishments. Although the water was not crystal clear and contained some algae, it still made for a great destination to explore in Latvia. Additionally, I believe it is one of the closest beaches to Riga city.

The beach offers a vast expanse of sandy shoreline, complete with convenient dressing cabins and benches for visitors to relax and soak up the sun. While there may be an abundance of laminarias present along the coast, the water remains crystal clear and inviting for a refreshing swim. Families with young children will appreciate the added bonus of playgrounds installed on the beach, making it a family-friendly destination. However, it's worth noting that parking can be a bit of a challenge during peak season, with limited slots available and paid parking being the norm. Fortunately, payment can be made via SMS for added convenience. For those in need of refreshments, cafeterias are located at the entrance of the beach. Just be prepared for crowds during the summer months, as this popular destination tends to get quite busy.

The beach is absolutely amazing! It's a popular spot for many people, especially during hot weather. The water is shallow and the depth increases gradually, which is perfect for those who want to take a dip without feeling overwhelmed. There are a few toilets and changing cabins available, as well as plenty of bins to keep the area clean. However, it's worth noting that some people tend to drink and smoke on the beach, and the police don't seem to be controlling this behavior effectively.

The beach offers of its pristine sand and clear waters, with football goals and changing boxes for convenience. Visitors can rent chairs and dispose of waste in the bins provided. The sea gradually deepens, allowing for easy paddling, splashing, and swimming. It is worth noting that the majority of tourists speak Latvian or Russian. Nevertheless, the beach is family-friendly and offers a variety of amenities such as cafes, bars, shops, and ice cream vendors within a five-minute walk. The beach stretches for miles, providing ample space even during peak hours.
