Charming little lido near Marina di Ragusa. They offer a variety of ombrelloni options, from standard shades with sun beds to bed shades and cozy beach huts. The bar serves delicious food with a diverse menu featuring both fish and meat dishes. The staff is delightful and extremely friendly with children. The facilities include showers (available for an additional fee), changing rooms, and toilets. If you're visiting with a large group, don't forget to purchase the daily pass for the showers. There's also a lounge area at the back, perfect for parties and small gatherings. Although the sea was a bit rough during our visit, both the beach and the sea in this area are lovely. They have an excellent play area for kids. We're not sure if the play area is always managed, but it wasn't during our visit, and we didn't have to pay to use it. I assume there might be a fee when it is managed. They also offer a massage service that can be booked via WhatsApp. Highly recommend.
Torre di Mezzo offers a pleasant location with amiable staff and delectable seafood dishes to savor while admiring the ocean.
The sandy beach is pleasant, but it seems a bit too tranquil for my liking. Additional amenities such as shower facilities and ramps would be a welcome addition.
This place is absolutely amazing! It's definitely worth checking out. The atmosphere here is so positive and enjoyable. ππ
This beach is great! We arrived towards the end of July during the UK school holidays and arrived at around 10:30 AM. There were only a few people on the beach, and there was plenty of space unlike many other beaches in Sicily during this time of year. To get to the beach, you should follow the directions on Google Maps and park in one of the roadside car parks on either side of the entrance to the nature reserve. From there, it's a 10-minute walk through a partially shaded paved pine forest to the beach. It was quite hot (37 degrees) when we visited with my two daughters aged 9 and 12, and they had minor complaints about the walk due to the heat, but they both agreed that it was worth it! There are showers on the way in and out to rinse off the sand. This beach is definitely worth a visit!
