Located at the southern end of Sand Island, this beach is a decent spot with a lot of history. You'll find local fishermen, homeless people, and stray cats in the area, most of whom keep to themselves. However, some of the cats are friendly and enjoy attention. The beach is surrounded by rocks that protect it from larger waves, making it a great spot for snorkeling. The coral varies with the tide, so reef shoes could be useful but aren't essential. Overall, it's a lovely place to escape to.
