During our honeymoon on Shelter Island, my spouse and I stumbled upon the hidden gem known as Shell Beach. Our Great Pyrenees was eager for a walk, and as we explored the area, we were immediately struck by its unique industrial charm. The picket fences reminded me of a time when my parents were hopeful for the future.
While the beach was abundant with shells, my wife's weak knees made it difficult for her to navigate the terrain. Despite this, our furry companion had a fantastic time chasing seagulls and causing mischief. We would definitely return to this picturesque location.
