Meschutt Beach

This beach is an ideal spot for families with young ones as it offers a serene and tranquil environment that children are bound to adore. However, it is important to note that the shoreline is quite rocky, so it is advisable to come prepared with appropriate footwear, especially when taking a dip in the water.

This beach is a true gem! It's perfect for families with young children as the water is shallow and calm due to being in the bay. The sand is smooth and there are plenty of beautiful shells to discover. However, if you're not a local, be prepared to pay $18 for parking. Despite this, it's worth the visit to experience the natural beauty and serenity of this hidden treasure.

Long Island is home to one of the most beloved beaches, and it happens to be my personal favorite. This destination is perfect for families with young children as the waters are tranquil and there are attentive lifeguards on duty. The added bonus of a full tiki bar/restaurant ensures that you can indulge in delicious food and drinks while soaking up the sun. Another great feature is the proximity of the parking lot to the beach, making it easy to carry all the necessary items for a beach day with the little ones.

This charming and pristine beach is a hidden gem. It boasts a playground, a cozy beach hut where you can indulge in delicious food and refreshing drinks, and well-maintained bathrooms. However, due to its popularity, it tends to get crowded quickly. To avoid the crowds, plan to arrive early on busy days or in the late afternoon for a more serene and spacious outdoor experience. Additionally, note that during the pandemic, only locals with a Green Key are permitted to access this lovely beach.

I have frequented this beach for the past three years and continue to do so for several reasons. Firstly, the absence of waves makes it a safe haven for my children to swim and play without any fear of injury. The waters are crystal clear and the beach is kept immaculately clean, creating a serene and friendly atmosphere. Unlike other beaches, there are no strict regulations, allowing us to bring along floaties and toys for the kids. Moreover, we are spoilt for choice with great food and drinks available just a stone's throw away from the beach. Needless to say, I absolutely adore this place!
