Silanto Beach

I went swimming at Tub Kaek Beach during high tide. I noticed several sea snakes near the shoreline, so it's important to make enough noise to let them know you're approaching and they can move away. Unfortunately, when I visited in June 2023, the trail leading to the beach was overgrown and I couldn't find it, so I had to swim back. There's a small swing on the beach, but make sure to check for snakes in the tree branches before using it. This beach can be accessed in three ways: 1. Swimming during high tide, 2. Walking during low tide, or 3. Taking the Dragon's Trail. It's not particularly remarkable except for the privacy it offers, but I wish you good luck and urge you to be cautious.

Wow, I've never been to such a stunning place before. There was nobody around, so I decided to set up my tent on the beach. The path to get there is a little tricky. It's located behind a hotel with red earth, but there seems to be no clear way to descend to the beach. 😂

It's a peaceful spot for sunbathing in the nude! I spent the entire day there by myself, and two kayaks happened to pass by. The path to the beach can be a bit challenging; we had to navigate through the jungle without a designated trail. Walking along the rocks is even more difficult and requires extra caution. We discovered a significant amount of glass both on the beach and in the water, so it's important to be careful. Despite that, the beach is pleasant, and I even crafted a seashell accessory and left it behind for future visitors.

In order to fully enjoy this beach, it takes courage and strength along with a passionate spirit to navigate the steep hills while wearing appropriate footwear. Additionally, you must be prepared to encounter various insects such as ants, bees, hornets, and other unidentified species, as their nests are present in the area. There is also a possibility of sustaining cuts from exotic plant leaves. However, if you possess these qualities, the experience is worth it. Prior to exploring the beach, I indulged in a Traditional English afternoon tea set at Banyan Tree Resort. Thankfully, despite facing these challenges, I emerged from the adventure with only a few minor wounds and muscle soreness. It is advisable to avoid visiting during the rainy season as the ground becomes excessively slippery.

We decided to take a stroll through the forest to reach this small beach, seeking an escape from the noise at our hotel. It was delightful to have the entire beach all to ourselves. However, we did come across quite a bit of broken glass, and the swimming conditions were not ideal. Nevertheless, it was incredibly serene. Along the way, we encountered some fascinating wildlife, including frogs, lizards, ladybugs, grasshoppers, spiders, and ants.
