Our family embarked on the Oceanside trail, tracing the cliffs and relishing the stunning views. The first 3/4 of the hike was a breeze, but the final stretch proved too challenging for my parents, who are in their 60s. The trail narrowed significantly and required some bouldering without any safety measures in place. The threat of rain made the already slippery path even more treacherous, and the strong winds added to the difficulty. Despite this setback, my husband and I pressed on and were rewarded with a breathtaking, secluded beach.
In my opinion, the hike is definitely worth it, but it's important to be mindful of your physical abilities and comfort level with heights before embarking on this adventure.
