Cozumel paradise beach

The room was definitely not spacious enough for two people with two double beds. One of the beds was missing a leg, despite our repeated requests for it to be fixed. The other bed was unevenly sloped. Our room was only cleaned once, even though we asked for it to be cleaned multiple times. The beds were made daily, but the one time it was cleaned was only after we asked twice. We found many dead biting flying ants on the floor and in the coffee tray and water glass trays, which we had asked to be sprayed because they were swarming near the light outside our door. It's strange how the bugs in the trays were missed when the beds were made the next day. We intentionally left them there to see if they would be cleaned, but the trays were only put back in place and the bugs and sand were only cleaned from the floor. We had an all-inclusive package with some additional perks, but we had to ask for things that were included in our package on a daily basis, even on our last day, and no one seemed to know what we were talking about. Another part of the package was $200 in coupons, but they turned out to be useless. We had three separate issues with the toilet, and the first time someone came to fix it, it made a horrible noise every time we flushed and they left a big mess. The next couple of times, it took several hours for someone to come, despite our numerous calls and visits to the front desk. Our mini fridge was supposed to be restocked daily, but we had to ask for it every day, along with toilet paper. There were three restaurants, and while the buffet seemed decent, the other restaurants only had two menus that they rotated daily. I went to the doctor to request specific medication for my stomach problems, but he didn't have it and said he would get it for me to purchase. Everything on the resort was extremely overpriced, including a can of bug spray which cost $18. Upon arrival, we were immediately pressured to attend a sales pitch. However, if we did attend, we would receive $250 in funny money that could be used for anything. The pitch was supposed to last about 90 minutes, but it ended up lasting 3 1/2 hours. The taxi fare was $15 each way, and there was no shuttle service to town. Additionally, there was a fee to access the pier, even if we had an excursion planned that picked up from there. It also seemed like the restaurants were understaffed, as it often took more than 20 minutes for someone to come to our table after we were seated.

My family had an amazing time at the beach! The rooms were really spacious and the view was absolutely stunning. We enjoyed ourselves so much that we ate and drank until we were completely satisfied. We even had the opportunity to go snorkeling right from the beach, and our beachfront swim out room was absolutely incredible.

I visited this beach last week and it was absolutely stunning. The people here are incredible! The entertainment team, Juan and Sara, were hands down the best! I've been here before and it never fails to meet my expectations. There are always plenty of activities to enjoy, making it so much fun.

We had a pleasant 5-day stay at the beach and thoroughly enjoyed our visit. Juan and Sarah provided exceptional customer service, being attentive to our needs. However, it would have been even better if there was a wider range of food options available for meals. The bonfire experience was fantastic, offering lots of fun, and we also indulged in two spa days, which were quite enjoyable.

I would not recommend staying at this place. When we made our booking, it was advertised as a 4-star resort with 4 restaurants. However, you only have access to 2 of them, and they are always crowded, serving the same food every day. If there is a large group at the resort, the restaurants even run out of plates. The other 2 restaurants that were advertised (an Italian restaurant and a buffet restaurant) by the travel company are no longer part of this resort, and you are not allowed to dine there. They will ask for your name and room number to confirm this. The rooms are outdated and lack a dresser, and the drains are very slow. Upon arrival, you will be approached by the Hyatt membership team, who will pressure you into attending a timeshare-like presentation to join Hyatt's owners group membership. They are presented as part of the resort, but in reality, they are not. Be warned. If you are looking for a 4-star or higher experience, I suggest going to the Iberostar.
