We spent a week in April at Paradise Bay, and true to its name, it truly felt like a slice of paradise on Exuma. The cottages were impeccably clean, offering magnificent views of the surroundings. The staff was incredibly pleasant, and we were delighted to find an excellent on-site restaurant that served breakfast, lunch, and dinner. It's worth mentioning that Cedric, the manager, went above and beyond to assist us, even when he wasn't physically present. This is definitely a must-visit spot on Exuma!

If you're not a fan of staying in overly luxurious hotels, this beach is a great option. It offers a pleasant place to stay without sacrificing the island atmosphere. The cozy cottages are charming, and the beach is beautiful. The locals are incredibly friendly and hospitable. Additionally, the outdoor cocktail area is a fantastic spot with enjoyable games available as well.

I regret not writing this review earlier - my husband and I stayed at this beach last August and it was the most relaxing and stunning vacation we have ever experienced. The first thing that stood out was the incredibly friendly and accommodating staff. I had been in contact with Cedric through email and had to make changes to our trip dates and deal with a few logistical issues. He was very responsive and flexible with our needs, and we were extremely grateful. Throughout our stay, the staff were exceptionally kind and welcoming. They treated us like family. The restaurant served incredibly fresh food. We live in the Pacific Northwest and regularly enjoy fresh fish, but the seafood at Cocoplum was outstanding in every meal. They also had a great selection of dairy-free and vegan options. It was easily the best restaurant we dined at on the island. The beach on the property was immaculate and secluded. Every morning, we would wake up and go for a swim, and we had the entire beach to ourselves. I often reminisce about our stay and eagerly await the day we can return.

The beach at Paradise Bay was absolutely stunning! They provided complimentary paddle boards for guests to use, and they also had kayaks available (although we were unsure if there was a fee for using them as we didn't try). There was even a swing on the shore for fun photo opportunities. The onsite beach bar was a great spot to relax, with seating, a fire pit, yard games, and live entertainment on some nights. Paradise Bay is conveniently located near Cocoplum beach (just a 10-minute drive north) and Jimmy Hill beach, which had the most incredible blue water that looked like blue Gatorade! We highly recommend renting a car so you can explore the island and visit Georgetown, which is about a half-hour drive south. There is so much to do and see on this island! Overall, we were extremely satisfied with our stay at Paradise Bay. We had a wonderful time and would definitely recommend it.

What are your thoughts on having a private cottage located just 30 feet away from a stunning one-mile-long beach with pristine white sand? It was absolutely awe-inspiring! The cottage itself was charming and equipped with all the necessary amenities. The bed was cozy, and the shower and bathroom had recently undergone renovations. Additionally, the mini fridge was stocked with exactly what you needed. The staff members were extremely friendly and engaging to converse with. The on-site restaurant, Cocoplum Bistro, exceeded our expectations with every meal. We are definitely planning to return, as this beachfront location felt like our own private paradise.
