The beach is absolutely stunning, with an incredible view of the sea. There are beaches on both sides of the rock where the Santa Maria church is located. If you plan on visiting in August, it's important to book in advance as parking and finding a spot on the beach can be difficult even at 9am. Depending on the day, the beaches offer package deals that include parking, a lido, an umbrella, and a deckchair. I visited Lido Azzurro from August 9th to 11th and paid €35, plus an additional €15 for private parking for the whole day. Other nearby beaches that seemed more upscale charged up to €80 for an umbrella and two deck chairs, so be sure to do your research. Public parking requires coins and costs €2 per hour, or €18 for the whole day. Paying by credit card doesn't always work, so it's best to send someone to queue for payment while you look for parking. Otherwise, you may not have access to a bathroom until noon. Have a great vacation!
