I was disappointed with my visit to the beach as I only managed to spot two dragons, which were both yawning and appeared too lazy to move. I couldn't help but wonder if they were intentionally made to be sleepy and less aggressive. In addition to that, I also came across some deer and wild boar.
The whole experience felt like a tourist trap, with hundreds of tourists wandering around empty bushes. Eventually, I did manage to spot one dragon, but it seemed more like a well-fed pet than a wild creature. Surprisingly, I have seen more Komodo dragons at the zoo and paid much less for that experience. The main highlights of the visit were the souvenir shops and drink stalls, where the vendors were quite eager to make a sale.
Overall, I left feeling disappointed and would not recommend this beach. Perhaps Rinca Island, as depicted in the photos I've seen, has a greater number of dragons to offer.
