Sometimes in life we are not expecting something, yet when it turns out to be something worth cherishing, we are positively impacted. That's exactly what happened here. We took a sudden trip to Kalagachia and we were told there was a delta, worth seeing. Yet the maps weren't really informative, so we decided to ask around and try and reach the delta. Yet by accident we arrived at this beach, which is far more famous for the Dargah.
It isn't technically a sea beach as it's between two delta's
Yet even the lack of any touristy activity won't disappoint you. It's a rather clean beach, with very few visitors. Trampoline, a few food stalls and a makeshift market will be the height of commercial activity. There are couple of very basic hotels, which could be termed as just beds for resting. The roads will continue to get narrow with every turn, yet it's not hard to drive, even for an amateur like myself. I wouldn't travel from Calcutta to just visit this place, yet if I am near by I would surely want to visit this beach one more time and hopefully get my feet wet.
