Nuem Beach

This beach in Nuem village is a hidden gem of South Goa that I hope remains unexplored. It's truly stunning with crystal clear water and beautiful rocks that add to its natural beauty. Unfortunately, during my visit in monsoon season, the water level was too high to get down to the beach, but there is a small water lagoon that connects to the sea. You can easily find the beach using Google Maps, but the route is narrow with sharp turns, so it's best to visit by two-wheeler and park easily. It's also recommended to download offline maps as there is no Airtel network connectivity, but Jio sim works well here. Although the beach is strictly not allowed for visitors as written on the gate, one of the locals allowed us to visit. If you want to experience the beauty of Goa beyond the party and booze scene, I highly recommend visiting places like this to learn more about the places you are traveling to. Most importantly, when visiting such places, please do not litter and keep the area clean. Let's all be responsible travelers and respectful of the environment. 🙂

Located in the southern region of Goa, near Canaguinim, lies the serene and picturesque Nuem Beach. This quaint little beach is adorned with black and red rocks, making it a unique and distinctive spot for visitors. Ideal for picnics with friends and family, Nuem Beach is a clean and safe haven, boasting of its natural beauty. The approach to this hidden gem is through private property, making it a lesser-known beach, with not many tourists frequenting the area. Its unspoiled charm makes it an excellent location for photography enthusiasts to capture the essence of this beautiful beach.

I absolutely adored this beach! It was so serene and stunning. On the way to Cabo de Rama, you'll pass through a charming little village and a beautiful church. There's an incredible backwater area near the church that stretches on for quite a while. I'm sure it's a breathtaking sight to see. Although the beach itself is quite small and there isn't much to do, if you're a fan of peace and quiet and are looking for a secluded spot, this is the place for you. This picturesque beach is primarily frequented by local fishermen and is not your typical tourist destination. The route to the beach is quite narrow and requires navigating through private streets. Parking can be a challenge, and maneuvering a four-wheeler can be difficult. Visitors can park near the community church and walk the rest of the way. It is important to be respectful of the locals' privacy as some may not appreciate tourists. If you are searching for a wide expanse of sandy beach, this may not be the ideal spot for you.
