Kekdole Beach

This beach may not be the ideal destination for those who wish to take a dip in the water. However, it does offer a serene environment where one can unwind by sitting on the rocks and enjoying the view. During our visit, we came across only a few individuals who were there for sightseeing. Nevertheless, I would suggest exploring other beaches like Baga instead of this one.

Ah, the beach - a place where sand meets sea and people come to bask in the sun. This particular beach is quite the sight to see, with its immaculate cleanliness and breathtaking view. It's almost as if the beach is showing off, daring you to take a picture that will do it justice. But don't just stand there gawking - make the most of your time here! Whether you're a sun worshipper or a sandcastle builder, there's something for everyone. Take a leisurely stroll, feel the wind in your hair, and soak up the salty air. And of course, safety first! Keep an ear out for the life guards' instructions - they're the real MVPs of the beach. So go ahead, pack a picnic, grab your loved ones, and make some memories. The beach is waiting for you!

On my trip, I had planned to explore the Reis Magos Area from Panjim. However, upon arriving, I found that the beach was not worth the journey, being only 10km away from Panjim. The area was unfortunately quite dirty and small, with numerous stray dogs roaming around. Although the beach was situated along the road, it did not meet my expectations of what a beach should be. Thankfully, my disappointment was soon forgotten as I discovered the Reis Magos Fort and Reis Magos Church, which were the true highlights of the area. If you are planning to visit, I highly recommend these two destinations as they are the only worthwhile places to see in the Reis Magos Area.

The Reis Magos beach, situated in Caniço, may be small in size but boasts of pristine waters that have been awarded the coveted ‘Blue Flag’ for their quality. The safety of swimmers is ensured with the presence of vigilant lifeguards and a first aid centre. The beach also offers various amenities such as a sports practice area, disabled-friendly restrooms, sunshades, a restaurant, and a snack bar. Parking is not a concern as there is ample space in the lot located above the beach.

The beach may look beautiful and amazing at first glance, but don't be fooled by its appearance. As you step onto the sand, you'll quickly notice the crowds of couples, all vying for a spot to lay their towels. The once pristine beach is now littered with trash and debris, making it difficult to enjoy the scenery. The water is murky and filled with seaweed, making it uninviting for a refreshing swim. Overall, this beach may have been beautiful before, but it's now a disappointing destination for anyone seeking a peaceful and enjoyable beach experience.
