For as long as I can remember, my family has made it a point to visit this beach every time we're in Greece. It's become somewhat of a tradition that's been passed down for three generations now, and we just can't seem to get enough of it. The water is so calm and serene, making it the perfect spot for a leisurely swim that's both refreshing and relaxing. And the view? It's absolutely breathtaking. The beach is surrounded by stunning scenery that's sure to take your breath away.
Of course, no beach experience is complete without some delicious food, and this place definitely delivers in that department. The local cuisine is simply amazing, and we always make it a point to indulge in some of our favorite dishes whenever we're here.
The only downside to this beach is how busy it can get. Over the years, it's become more and more popular, and it can sometimes feel a bit too developed for our liking. However, despite the crowds, the beach has still managed to maintain its charm and allure, and we always enjoy our time here.
If you're planning a visit, we highly recommend getting there early in the morning or later in the afternoon/evening when it's not quite as hot and there are fewer people around. This makes it easier to find a spot to relax and soak up the sun. Plus, we love that they offer two chairs and an umbrella for only eight euros.
All in all, if you're in the Chania area, this beach is an absolute must-visit. It's beautiful, relaxing, and offers a true taste of Greek culture and hospitality.
