The beach in Serifos might seem like a haven for beach-goers, but don't be fooled by the thin sand and clear waters. Sure, there are some trees for shade, but they can only do so much to protect you from the scorching sun. And while there are two supposedly nice taverns, the parking situation is a nightmare. Unless you're lucky enough to snag a spot inside the tavernas, you'll have to park on the street and walk a few meters. Not exactly the relaxing beach day you had in mind, huh?

The coastal area is a sight to behold, boasting crystal-clear waters that shimmer in the sunlight. The convenience of reaching the beach is unparalleled, as you can park your vehicle on the roadside and effortlessly descend the stairs to the shore.

The beach left a lasting impression on us, prompting us to visit twice during our stay. The waters were exceptionally clear, allowing for a breathtaking view of the surrounding scenery. The tavern offered a variety of refreshments including food, water, coffee, and drinks, providing a convenient option for those looking to stay hydrated and nourished while enjoying the beach.

Serifos boasts of one of the most splendid beaches that will take your breath away! The key to enjoying your beach day is to avoid windy days, and you will be rewarded with a mesmerizing sight of crystal clear water and lush tamerici. The beach is easily accessible from Livadi, whether you choose to drive or take the bus. Additionally, there are two tavernas where you can grab refreshments or indulge in a sumptuous meal.

Psili Ammos beach in Serifos is truly a gem among the Cyclades islands. With its name translating to light sand in Greek, it's no surprise that the sand is incredibly fine and feels like a gentle massage on your feet. The water is crystal clear and pure, making it feel like a blessing to swim in. What's even better is that the beach isn't overrun with bars or loud music, giving you a chance to truly unwind and relax. There are two taverns on the beach, Manolis and Stefanakos, that serve up delicious traditional Greek cuisine. If you're feeling adventurous, make sure to bring your snorkelling gear and head out to explore the underwater world. And while the wind can sometimes bring sand into your things, bringing a tent can help protect you from the elements. For those early risers, catching the sunrise at Psili Ammos is a must-do activity. And if you're looking to explore more beaches, nearby Agios Ioannis, Agios Sostis, and Lia beaches are all worth a visit. Just remember to be respectful of the environment and not litter, as the wind can easily carry it away and into the sea. And while there are trees that provide shade, be mindful of not taking up too much space. Psili Ammos is a beautiful beach that deserves to be enjoyed by all.
