I must say, this beach is a true gem that should be preserved in its natural state. It's disheartening to see how new developments often disregard the environment and prioritize profit. They construct flashy buildings that completely ignore the Aegean tradition of simplicity and functionality. Some even think that adding excessive amounts of stone makes it look more appealing, but that's not what the Cyclades are about. This beach, on the other hand, is a perfect representation of Serifos and its timeless charm. Take a stroll around the quaint little houses and compare the ones built in the 1950s and 1960s to those constructed from 1970 to 2015. It's evident that the older homes are what give Serifos and its beaches their unique character. So, come and bask in the crystal-clear waters of this beach, and appreciate the beauty of its unspoiled surroundings.
