Milna beach

In September, the beach is pleasantly serene with a tranquil atmosphere. The crowd is minimal, making it a perfect place to unwind and enjoy the scenic beauty. You can rent a comfortable chair and chair pad for a reasonable price of 50 KN per day. The beach is secure, and you can take a refreshing dip in the sea without worrying about your belongings. It is a picturesque beach located in close proximity to restaurants and just 5km away from Hvar town.

This beach is a pleasant spot that avoids the typical overcrowding found at other popular destinations. Alongside the sandy shores, visitors can find a selection of bars and restaurants, as well as a convenient little shop and ATM.

This pebbled shore may be a haven for some, but it's not my cup of tea due to the limited parking and expensive dining and lodging options. It's just not worth the hype. However, if you're seeking tranquility, this beach is certainly a serene escape.

Perhaps those who complain about crowded beaches have not yet visited this particular one. I spent four consecutive days here during the second week of August and found that while it wasn't completely empty, there was still plenty of space to lay out a towel and enjoy the sun. The water was incredibly clear and inviting, and there were numerous restaurants within easy walking distance. The attached photo was taken on August 14th, 2021 at 10:30am, and captures just a glimpse of the beauty of this beach.

I had high expectations for the renowned beach on the island of Hvar, but unfortunately, it fell short. While the entrance appears inviting, it is actually quite rocky, with large boulders scattered throughout the sea. The water is also noticeably colder than other beaches, and the presence of numerous small vessels and sailboats can be overwhelming. However, I did appreciate the availability of affordable sun umbrellas and chairs, priced at a reasonable 100 kunas for the entire day. On the downside, the tobacco shop remained closed for most of the day, and the gadget and toy shop was overpriced and disappointing. Thankfully, parking was easy to find and reasonably priced. The beach now boasts a newly opened restaurant, flanked by older establishments on either side. In summary, I rate this beach three stars, as the entrance to the sea is not clean or soft, and the proximity of sailboats and small ships to the swimming area is concerning.
