During high tide, parts of the beach may become impassable by car, so it is advisable to use a 4x4 vehicle equipped with recovery straps and shovels. The beach is absolutely stunning and offers plenty of parking for visitors. The shipwreck adds an extra level of excitement to the experience, as you can even step inside it during low tide (just be sure not to climb on it!). We visited on a lovely day with temperatures hovering around 70 degrees. The sand is partially black and can get a bit hot, but this only enhances the pleasure of walking through the waves.
