The RV campground is basic, but it offers full hookups. The beach is just a short walk over the dunes. You can fish on the pier. You can hear the waves from your campsite, though you can't see them. Overall, it's a nice place.
This was my inaugural visit to the Atlantic Ocean, and I must say, it is a truly stunning location. However, I wasn't particularly fond of the pay-to-park system, but I understand that's just how things are.
We had a fantastic time at the beach. The parking, facilities, and beach access are conveniently located near shops, restaurants, festival grounds, restrooms, showers, and a small boardwalk.
The serene Ocean Isle Beach is a perfect destination for families seeking a safe and picturesque getaway. Nestled between the vibrant cities of Myrtle Beach and Wilmington, this beach offers ample opportunities for thrilling day trips. Its pristine beauty and tranquil atmosphere make it an ideal spot to unwind and soak up the sun.
The pier is quite lengthy, and there is no charge for strolling along it unless you have an interest in fishing. It seemed like the fishing conditions were decent. Unlike other fishing piers, this one appeared to be relatively clean, suggesting that people take responsibility for tidying up their surroundings. The beach offers stunning scenery, and the breeze is just as anticipated.
