The beach offers of constant sunshine and ideal waves for surfing. It is quite spacious, ensuring that there is always a spot available to relax.
The Fam Bam frequents this beach often and it is truly an amazing place to be. One of our cherished activities is searching for small crabs near the rocks and then releasing them back into their habitat. It's always a heartwarming experience. During our latest visit, my daughter discovered a stunning emerald green crab with silver and black stripes, which left us in awe. We were in the midst of constructing a sandcastle when LittleBigfoot stumbled and fell, causing us to erupt in laughter. Despite the minor setback, we're already planning our next visit. Today was a fantastic day with the temperature reaching a delightful 82 degrees.
This beach is ideal for swimming and paddle boarding, with its calm waters, particularly near Malibu pier. There are two parking lots nearby, one at PCH and Cross Creek Rd, and another right next to the Adamson museum house heading towards Malibu Pier. From the Cross Creek entrance parking lot, it's a pleasant walk to reach the lagoon, passing by the Amrikha Pilgrimage Point of Refuge on the way to the beach.
This serene beach has a breathtaking view of the sunset on any given day. It's impossible to resist pulling over and taking a moment to appreciate the picturesque surroundings when the timing is perfect. I was pleasantly taken aback to find that the only other living being on the beach was a person walking their furry companion. It truly felt like I had the entire beach to myself. I highly recommend stopping by on a day with a light cloud cover or clear skies, as the sun sets in the horizon.
