The serene beach boasts of vibrant huts and an array of water sports to indulge in while relishing on some refreshing beverages. However, the beach is situated quite far from the city, making it imperative to have your own means of transportation as buses are infrequent, arriving only once an hour.
This splash park may be small, but it was a delightful place to visit. The kids had an absolute blast, and the adjacent playground provided a perfect combination of fun activities. While there are a few tables available in the splash park area, the playground could really use some benches to allow parents to sit and watch their children more comfortably.
This beach is perfect for taking a leisurely stroll and admiring the scenery. The town center has plenty of options for dining and drinking nearby. At the northern end of the beach, there are huts where you can observe planes landing at the Solent Airport.
We had an amazing time with our kids. The beach was pristine, with crystal clear water and no tide. There were plenty of activities and eateries for the kids to enjoy.
The beach is absolutely stunning, with its charm and beauty amplified by the fact that there are very few people present on this sunny Friday in July. It boasts a vast stretch of golden sand, bordered by trees and a small park or gardens. The dog-friendly area is located towards the south/eastern end. Convenient parking can be found in a designated car park as well as along North Walk. Additionally, there are restroom facilities available and a fantastic cafΓ© to enjoy.
