This so-called amazing beach is nothing but a mediocre stretch of sand with a view that's been hyped up beyond belief. Sure, the water may be clear, but that's hardly a rarity for any beach worth its salt. And as for the cleanliness? It's nothing more than basic maintenance that any self-respecting beach should have. Don't be fooled by the steep hike either, it's just a cheap ploy to make you think you're getting something special. Save yourself the trouble and skip this overrated spot.

This charming beach is quite pleasant with all the necessary amenities, such as restrooms and ice cream shops, conveniently located nearby. However, the only drawback is the lengthy hike from the large parking lot on the outskirts of town with all of your belongings. Additionally, as evidenced by my photos, the beach can become quite crowded, resulting in a dense population on the sand.

To be frank, the pool vicinity seems to be in a state of disarray and has been for quite some time. It seems that instead of fixing the issues, they have put in minimal effort to ensure safety. Nevertheless, the adjacent shoreline is one of our preferred destinations.

The beach, located just 3 miles from Looe, is always a pleasant experience and definitely worth a visit if you're in the area. It's popular with dog walkers and the beach cafe offers reasonably priced food with friendly and efficient service. The beach offers beautiful sea views in both directions, but parking is limited to a few dozen metered spots right by the beach. Despite some local flooding and nearby fields turning into ponds on the day we visited, it was still an enjoyable experience.

To be considered a proper beach, the tide must be completely out. However, it's not really suitable for swimming and is more popular among paddle boarders for launching. But during low tide, it's definitely worth checking out for the rock pools and caves. Plus, there's a partially paved path over the rocks that makes it easier to explore.

This beach is fantastic for dog owners, as it is dog-friendly. We enjoyed a beautiful walk from Looe along the coastal path, and the views were absolutely stunning.
