Gokceada is truly a gem, and the beach is spacious enough to avoid feeling overcrowded, particularly if you park near the salt lake and venture a bit towards the dunes. The swimming experience is fantastic.
We have been visiting this island for four years, and we have been considering this beach for ten assessments. Currently, it appears to be unclean due to the arrival of the ferry, but overall it is remarkably pristine with crystal-clear water and a lack of waves. The beach is divided into two sections, with one part being sandy and the other part being rocky. Additionally, the water is not deep, as it reaches a depth of over 1.70 meters after approximately 10 to 15 meters.
When visiting Gökçeada, be sure to add a trip to the beach to your itinerary. Although the road leading to the beach may be a bit bumpy and sandy, it's worth it to continue on (take a left after the sign 😁) - even if you come across an explosives caution sign - as the beach is accessible by a regular vehicle. Remember to pack all the necessary supplies such as an icebox, water, food, and an umbrella to ensure a comfortable and enjoyable experience. So, don't forget to bring your essentials and have a delightful swim while enjoying your vacation 🍹.
Wow, this beach is the ultimate kite paradise! The morning breeze is so fierce, it could blow your socks off. But wait, there's more! After 10am, the beach becomes a surfer's haven, making it a bit of a challenge to get your kite on. And when the wind gets really wild, the waves become massive, so if you're a newbie to the sport, tread carefully. All in all, this beach is a thrill-seeker's dream come true.
