It is a peaceful and tranquil location. While the sea is stunning, accessing the bay by car is challenging. The road is rather rough and steep.
The municipalities have overlooked a certain area where the road from Karabiga has been left unbuilt for half a century. During my childhood, this place lacked any houses or visitors, with only a few tents scattered around. The surroundings were relatively cleaner back then, and the sea was incredibly beautiful. Although this place has been discovered in recent years, it has unfortunately been neglected. If the municipality had the desire, they could transform this place into something magnificent by constructing the necessary roads. However, it seems that their vision is nowhere to be found.
The Aksaz municipality public beach is well-designed with a central Camellia and picnic tables. Families can enjoy separate camellias in certain areas of the beach, and communal barbecues are available. However, the showers and toilets are not very clean. The sea is generally clean but deepens quickly, and there is also a children's park. This beach is perfect for families with children and can accommodate large crowds.
When it comes to the temperature and purity of the ocean, there is truly nothing to complain about. However, the path leading to the beach has seen better days and is slowly deterring visitors. It's necessary to adjust your vehicle's wheels before making the trip. It's a shame that the local government doesn't offer any amenities, as this hidden gem is unfortunately quite dirty. It's a real disappointment that there are no restrooms or parking facilities available. Hopefully, the Karabiga municipality will implement a fee to improve the area so that people can fully appreciate the sea in all its glory.
The entrance fee for the beach is only valid until the evening, and there are restrictions on setting up tents. However, if you request it, you may be able to stay. The beach offers amenities such as a toilet, shower, dressing cabin, prayer room, and sink for cleaning dishes. It seems like the beach was designed for camping, but it doesn't seem to be in operation. Despite being a weekday, the beach was not very crowded during the day. With an entrance fee of 20 TL, it is a beautiful place to visit. However, it may get more crowded on weekends, so it is advisable to arrive early.
