The shallow sea is perfect for kids to splash around in, and the beach bars are ideal for parents who want to relax and watch. There's plenty of parking, so you won't have to worry about finding a spot.
I'm in awe of this place. The beaches are stunning and the eateries and bars are top notch. Plus, the sunrises here are simply breathtaking!
That place front cafe/bar has stunning views of the Mar Menor. If you're lucky, you can even catch a free air show from the local jet training school! We had coffee and tea for a great price of €1.40 each, and they even threw in a biscuit as a bonus!
A secluded beach that is only busy during the summer and on sunny weekends. You have to arrive early to get a spot close to the shore. While some parts can be a bit grubby, it's worth venturing a bit further in to experience the clear waters and soft white sand. Highly recommended for athletes too, as there are some great cycling routes.
Take a trip to the beach and get a free spa treatment! Collect mud from the lake and cover yourself in its healing properties. It's a great way to have a laugh and it's totally free. We visited out of season, so I can't comment on how crowded it would be during peak times, but it is definitely worth a visit.
