The beach was nothing special. The sand was dry and the water was lukewarm. The atmosphere was dull and uninspiring. There was nothing to do here, just a few people lounging around. Overall, it was an unremarkable beach.
Praia de Bon is a little gem - it's small, but perfectly formed. It's immaculately clean and offers a truly special experience.
Lapaman beach is the best in the area, though all the beaches here are great. Agrelo beach is small and tranquil, and it has two beach bars.
The golden sand beach in Cangas de Morrazo is situated in a picturesque fishing village on the RΓa de Vigo which is part of the RΓas Baixas in Galicia. Despite having all the services necessary to enjoy the sea, the beach is far from ideal. The promenade that runs along the beach to the port of Cangas is unappealing and the views of the Vigo estuary are far from magnificent. There is a bike path, however the beach is very quiet due to it not being high season. We visited at the end of May and found it to be far from the relaxing break we had hoped for. Galicia may be beautiful, but this beach is not.
Anything but impressive. It's small and quiet, but that means there's hardly any space to put your towels when the tide comes in. Not to mention, the view is marred by the presence of too many boats. All in all, it's not much of an excuse to go for a drink at the beach bar.
This location is easily accessible from the promenade, and is well connected. There is a park for kids to play in right on the promenade, and the sand is full of shells. It also has a volleyball net, a kiosk to buy drinks, and a fountain to rinse off your feet. Additionally, you can take boats from the beachfront to the CΓes Islands.
