A great spot for a leisurely stroll or a peaceful getaway. With a convenient parking lot nearby, it can get crowded, but the serene atmosphere is worth it. There are plenty of friendly cats roaming around, so don't forget to give them a few pets. Plus, free public restrooms are available too. It's the perfect place to spend a relaxing afternoon.
I was taken aback to find that there were fewer than 10 people on such a large beach. The wind was so strong that sand was constantly blowing onto our mat, so we didn't stay long. Maybe it would be better to bring a beach chair next time. There were showers and wheelchair access to the beach, and it was close to the city. Unfortunately, dogs were not allowed.
The beach was expansive, yet uninspiring. There was nothing special about the sand, and the ocean was dull and uninviting. The atmosphere was dreary and unappealing, and the view was bland and uninspiring. Overall, it was a disappointing experience.
What a pleasant surprise to stumble upon this beach in such a remote location! It was a real treat and a delight to find this little oasis in the middle of nowhere.
Playa del Pozo, which gets its name from the old wells nearby, can be accessed either by a path along the cliff from Playa Quemada or through the Barranco Higueral from Femes. These wells contain brackish water.
