Great clear water, left side after the cliff is more nude than right side, near the two bar/restaurants where the food is quite good but they get very busy and service is not fast. In july had a few jellyfish in the sea. Need to park above and pay a couple euros per person to take bus up/down to the beach. the pebbles are soft enough to plant an umbrella.

Ah, the beach! What can I say? It's a stunning little village right by the ocean. There's a great mix of locals and tourists, plus plenty of places to eat. From tasty to downright delicious, you can't go wrong. The local restaurants offer the best service, with a friendly and fun atmosphere. As for the fancier places, they're alright, I guess. But if you're looking for a place to stay, La Pension has great value for money - probably the best in Europe! And of course, the chiringuitos are all fantastic. My personal favourites are Bueno and Joaquin. For football and a chat, head to El Salon. There's also a hidden gem whose name I can't remember, but it starts with a C. All in all, just enjoy the place and talk to everyone!😜❤️

Parking can be a challenge due to limited space, and it can be a bit risky at times. You need to be in good shape to make it down to the beach. It's a quiet spot, with no amenities or bars. A bit further up the coast, there's a nude beach, so you may come across some people without clothes.

This place is an ideal spot for diving, boasting some of the best views on the southern coast of Spain. However, it's not the best place to relax and soak up some sun as the sand is filled with small and large stones, both on the beach and in the water. Nevertheless, the stroll from the beach's parking lot to the harbour is a pleasant one, with a stony path leading to a lovely balcony where you can take in the sights. The harbour itself is also worth a visit, with its selection of restaurants and shops.

This beach has a nice mix of sand and pebbles, and offers plenty of lounge rentals for 10 euros (cash only) which includes two chairs and an umbrella. Additionally, there are small beach bars where you can purchase drinks to enjoy on your lounges.

I absolutely adore Almuñécar - it's such an incredible place with friendly locals and plenty of shops to keep you content and your fridge stocked. During the summer, there are many bars along the beach, however, that number dwindles during the winter months.
