This beach is a true gem, with its crystal-clear waters and immaculate sand. It's a must-visit destination, especially in the morning when the gentle breeze adds to the serene atmosphere. The beachfront is lined with charming restaurants, a delightful ice cream shop, and clean restrooms for your convenience. You can also witness the launch of boats from the shore, which adds to the excitement of the place. And don't forget to keep your eyes peeled for the playful dolphins that call this beach their home!

This beach is undeniably picturesque, with a velvety smooth shoreline that's hard to resist. I visited during May and was fortunate enough to experience flawless weather conditions, coupled with a lack of crowds. However, I couldn't help but feel disappointed by the lack of beachside dining options, apart from a measly two food trucks. Despite this, the overall atmosphere of this quaint seaside resort was charming and serene.

This sandy haven in Knysna is a top choice for families with little ones. The kiddos can frolic in the waves while parents kick back and soak up some sun. However, be forewarned that the restrooms (aka porta loos) may not always be up to par. So, if you're feeling brave, go ahead and venture in. But if you're a bit squeamish, it might be best to hold it until you get back to your hotel.

Undoubtedly the finest of all, our beloved beach for over three decades! We make it a point to visit this heavenly spot every Christmas vacation, and whenever we get a chance. The beach boasts of unspoiled stretches of sand, breathtaking vistas, and an opportunity to indulge in snorkeling (during low tide) from Gerika's point. It's also an ideal place to fly our model gliders from the dunes, and the cherry on top is the ice-cream vendor who makes an appearance during summertime. Without a doubt, we are enamored with this paradise.

This beach is an absolute wonder, boasting breathtaking views of the bay that seem to stretch on forever. The sand is incredibly soft and fine, and the waves are simply fantastic for surfing or swimming. One of the highlights of this beach is the opportunity to find your own collection of delicate pansy shells during low tide, although they do require a gentle touch as they are quite fragile. From the vantage point of La Vista Lodge, you can truly appreciate the stunning beauty of the entire bay and the magnificent lookout beach in a way that is unparalleled.
