We had a fantastic day trip to this beach. Just be aware that the road leading to the resort is quite narrow. However, the resort offers parking spaces for guests. The area may not be very large, but it is well-maintained and clean. They serve delicious food and drinks, but you are also allowed to bring your own (with corkage fee). If you wish to stay overnight, they have casitas available, and they even have a function hall for events. As for activities, you can enjoy floating on a balsa, riding a water pedal bike, kayaking, and even take a boat service to miracle island.
The highlights of our stay were the well-maintained swimming pool and the beautiful view from the restaurant. However, we were disappointed by the lack of upkeep and the ongoing construction, which caused disturbances such as loud banging noises. We even overheard a heated argument between a man and a woman on the beach. While Punta Ballo Beach may appear appealing from a distance, we were disappointed to find a significant amount of litter and unsuitable conditions for swimming due to the shallow and rocky water. Overall, it wasn't a terrible experience, but I would recommend waiting until the construction is completed, possibly around 2024, if you plan on visiting Punta Ballo.
This stunning beach is an absolute gem, and it holds a special place in my heart as my favourite destination in Southeast Asia. Although it has been a few years since my last visit, I still remember the tranquility and serenity of this place. What sets it apart from other beaches is the absence of any development on the beachfront. It's just you, the sand, and the sea, with a lush palm tree line providing the perfect backdrop. The diving here is also fantastic, and if you happen to be Swiss German, you'll find plenty of like-minded individuals to share your experiences with. Overall, this is a truly remarkable beach that is well worth a visit.
The public beach of the city is a pristine spot, especially when compared to other public beaches in the country. What sets it apart is its location, which is conveniently situated near the city center. As the sun sets, the beach comes alive with a vibrant display of multi-colored lights, casting an enchanting spell on the entire boulevard. It's a perfect place to unwind and indulge in some open-air dining while soaking in the tranquil atmosphere.
The Wi-Fi is excellent, and our room, which is room number 11 called "Langka," is both roomy and spotlessly clean. Our room overlooks the pool, which is cleaned daily. Despite the gloomy weather caused by the typhoon during our visit, we were able to fully enjoy our stay in Bugana thanks to the presence of a pool and a private beach area.
